At the heart of Moon On Main is the belief that yoga should be accessible. You do not have to be flexible, experienced, spiritual, or fit a certain image to practice yoga. Yoga is a diverse system of movement, breath, meditation and longevity, with different lineages and styles that meet you where you're at. Yoga is a practice, it is never something that you will perfect - it's a journey you embark on, and get fit, cultivate a healthy spine and mind, and regulate your nervous sytem while doing so.
Our yoga offerings are rooted in Hatha and somatic foundations, with classes including Vinyasa, Yin, Somatic Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Warm Yoga, alongside Ballet Aerobics (Barreless barre) Yoga & Dance, Meditation & Breathwork, as well as Sound Bath experiences. We also offer online classes, making it possible to practice with Moon On Main from wherever you are.
Education is important here. We want people to understand what yoga actually is, how different styles and practices work, and how yoga can support strength, mobility, balance, body awareness, nervous system regulation, rest, and overall wellbeing. Yoga can be strong and physically challenging, slow and meditative, deeply restorative, or somewhere in between. There is no single way that a yoga practice has to look.
Our classes are open to all bodies, men and women. We also offer a women's only class and a prenatal class.
